Washington State Patrol cracks down on Drunk Drivers on Halloween

On Halloween weekend, Washington State Patrol cracked down on drunk drivers with satisfactory results.

744 vehicles were stopped.

52 suspected impaired drivers were arrested from the Snohomish-King County line to the Canadian border.

34 suspected impaired drivers arrested in Snohomish County alone.

0 Fatal or serious injury collisions.

Fifty-eight percent of U.S. traffic fatalities during Halloween in 2008 were caused by drunk drivers, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
